Corporations like Tyson and Cargill are supporting factory farms that cause health and environmental problems, while they drive smaller farmers and ranchers out of business. Our policymakers have a decision to make — will they side with us or with Big Food? We all want a food system that works for farmers and eaters, not Monsanto, Tyson and Cargill. Creating that system is going to start right here on the ground in the East Bay. Join us on Thursday to get involved! We'll talk about what it means to build a powerful campaign — everything from gathering petitions and reaching out to groups in our neighborhoods, to working with our city council to passing a resolution in support of fair farm policies." |
