At
ContextAnalysis, we apply anthropological methods, theories and tools
to enhance the abilities of non-profits and community-based
organizations to identify, assess and solve social problems. At its base,
anthropology is the study of humans and anthropologists use qualitative
research methods such as participant observation, interviews, and focus groups
to place social issues in context. The "lived experience" of
individuals and their relation to their community is a major concern of
anthropological research. Applied anthropology is the practical application of qualitative research to solve social problems. Our work assists non-profits and community-based organizations in analyzing and including the variety of voices within their communities of service, supplying the context to focus programming, creating long-term solutions and increasing success. |
